These sheets were attached via staples to a board and each of the rows is perforated. I presume these were available in toy shops where kids could buy the transfers in strips of four. Very unusual items but don't look for any resemblance between the players names and the faces.
UPDATE (16-02-2016 12:24): I've amended the date from 1930 to 1932-33.
